Driver Charged in Cary Wreck That Injured Teen
Raleigh police said alcohol was involved in a single-vehicle accident that left a teenaged girl injured early Saturday.
Posted — UpdatedCARY, N.C. — Raleigh police said alcohol was involved in a single-vehicle accident that left a teenaged girl injured early Saturday.
A car ran off the right shoulder of Annandale Drive at Queensferry Road and crashed into a tree around 4 a.m., police said.
One passenger, a 16-year-old girl, was transported to WakeMed to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. She has since been released from the hospital.
Police said driver Niels Sommerfeld, 18, was charged with DWI.
