FAYETTEVILLE — A Domino's pizza shop was on the receiving end yesterday, and the delivery weighed considerably more than a pepperoni pizza.
Law officers said a woman drove her car into the store by way of the front windows. And she almost ran her husband down in the process.
They said that the man, a store employee, had told his wife he was interested in another woman. His wife, they said, became mad, got behind the wheel of the car and hit the gas. She crashed the car into the building.
Her husband was taken to the hospital.
She has been chared with careless and reckless driving.
