Dogwood Fest, Darius Rucker lead Fayetteville best bets this month

April is a busy month for folks in Fayetteville, as the annual Dogwood Festival draws near.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The annual Dogwood Festival and a performance from country star Darius Rucker are just some of the events happening this month in Fayetteville.

The Marshall Tucker Band country singer John Michael Montgomery headline this year's Fayetteville Dogwood Festival. The annual event, which is free and open to the public, is April 25-27.

Concert will be at Festival Park on Friday and Saturday nights. No tickets are required. Outside of live music, the festival features family-friendly activities, food and rides.

Darius Rucker, the Eli Young Band and Corey Smith will play the Crown Center of Cumberland County on April 18. Another notable act playing the center this month is Maze featuring Frankie Beverly this Thursday night. Tickets for both shows are still available.
