RALEIGH, N.C. — Dinosaurs are coming back to Raleigh this month.

The interactive dinosaur exhibit Jurassic Quest will stop at the Raleigh Convention Center on Nov. 19-21, organizers announced Wednesday.

The event includes more than 100 "life-like" dinosaurs, dinosaur themed rides, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, a “Triceratots” soft play area, bounce houses and other inflatable attractions.

Guests will explore through the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic periods to see the dinosaurs from those times, plus take a look at underwater creatures in the "Ancient Oceans" exhibit. That section will include a 50-foot-long Megalodon, the biggest shark to ever live.

Safety precautions being taken for Jurassic Quest shows include:

  • Timed entry for guests to encourage social distancing
  • Enhanced cleaning of each ride after each use
  • Interval based cleaning of each bounce house with wipe downs with CDC approved sterilizers and electrostatic sprayers
  • Frequent sanitation measures include wipe downs of all contact surfaces throughout each day to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • All Jurassic Quest employees are required to wear masks. Face coverings are strongly encouraged, regardless of vaccination status, and may be required per state, city and venue policies. The CDC recommends face coverings if you are not fully vaccinated.

This will be the third time Jurassic Quest has stopped in Raleigh. The show was here in 2018 and 2019. As always, before heading out to an event check out the reviews and see others have experienced. When the show visited in 2018, Go Ask Mom offered the suggestion to visit Trip Advisor and Yelp to check out reviews of the event when it's stopped in other locations.
