Disability Rights North Carolina filed suit Friday in U.S. District Court on behalf of two individuals who were notified that state-funded services that permit them to live in the community are being terminated.

The suit claims losing those services will lead to people being institutionalized when they don't need to be.
That, the advocacy group says, amounts to illegal discrimination against the disabled.
