Deputies Search for Car After Durham Shooting

One person was shot outside a Crown gas station near the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and Pleasant Drive around 9:30 p.m.

DURHAM, N.C. — Authorities were searching for a gold Mazda car after a shooting in Durham on Thursday night.

Officials with the Durham Sheriff's Office said two black men and a black woman were in the car when it was last seen.

One person was shot outside a Crown gas station near the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and Pleasant Drive around 9:30 p.m.

The victim was transported to Duke Medical Center, officials said. They did not specify the victim's condition.

Deputies were withholding other information about the shooting.
