Deputies: Caretaker attacked, stole from handicapped woman
The caretaker of a handicapped woman assaulted her and stole prescription drugs from her, according to the Chatham County Sheriff's Office.

Jonathan McKeown, 41, attacked the woman on Friday when she confronted him about the theft, Maj. Gary Blakenship said. He dragged her to a different room of her house, assaulted her and then fled, authorities said.
Deputies arrested McKeown a short time later, but while handcuffed, he escaped, Blakenship said. He was caught at the victim's house a few hours later.
McKeown, of 2038 S. Chatham Extension, was charged with felony kidnapping, breaking and entering, possession of a controlled substance, assault on a handicapped person, damage to personal property, injury to real property and resisting, delaying or obstructing justice.
He was placed in the Chatham County jail under a $100,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for April 16.
