CARY, N.C. — Rockwell's American Grill in Cary might have closed, but Rocky Top Hospitality is wasting no time filling in that space with their new restaurant venture.
Dean's Seafood Grill & Bar is opening in late January, so we'll have an update soon on an exact date. The restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh seafood, mainly from the North Carolina Coast, Hawaii, the Gulf of Mexico and Japan, along with a "Food Without Fins" menu section. Some interesting dishes on the menu include the Pink Peppercorn & Coriander Crusted Tilapia, Bacon BBQ Shrimp & Grits, and the Honey Pecan Shrimp.

The menu's "Fresh Catch" section will change weekly with six to eight different types of fish, which is an incentive to check back regularly and try their new offerings. The menu even tells you where every seafood item was harvested and a little bit about how everything tastes.

Dean's also has a raw bar to satisfy all your oyster, clam, mussel and crab leg cravings.

Along with all these menu choices, the bar at Dean's will have 14 beers on tap and nightly specials, in addition to over 80 available wines and signature cocktails.

Once the weather warms up, we think the patio at Dean's will be a great place to relax and linger over dinner with friends.

Are you excited to try Dean's Seafood Grill & Bar? Or are you sad to see Rockwell's close?
