RALEIGH, N.C. — The Dead Sea Scrolls will be part of an exhibition at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences next year.

The exhibition will run from June to December, officials said.

Regarded by many as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, the scrolls include some of the earliest surviving texts that later formed books of the Bible's Old Testament. The scrolls were found by accident in 1947 in what is now Israel.
