Cumberland County man missing after visit to VFW
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert early Thursday for Orville Henry Bennett, 65, who was reported missing after a visit to the VFW at 116 Chance St. in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert early Thursday for Orville Henry Bennett, 65, who was reported missing after a visit to the VFW at 116 Chance St. in Fayetteville.
Bennett, who is black, about 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighs about 189 pounds, was believed to be driving a blue 2007 Nissan Maxima with North Carolina license plate DV-4330.
When last seen, he was wearing wearing a red jacket, brown shirt, tan pants and white shoes. He has short, gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about Bennett is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-677-5414.
