RALEIGH, N.C. — Emergency crews battled a fire at a Raleigh apartment's clubhouse at 6317 Shanda Drive Tuesday morning, according to police.

No one was injured, and the units at Woods at North Bend were not touched, according to authorities. Residents said they saw flames raging from the clubhouse at about 4:15 a.m.

It's unclear what caused the fire.

Authorities responded to another fire at the apartment complex in June 2009. Investigators determined that improperly discarded smoking material caused that blaze.

A quarter of the building sustained significant fire and smoke damage. No one was injured.

In July 2008, a fire left 16 units uninhabitable. Fire officials also deemed that blaze an accident.
