Northeast Raleigh home damaged in fire
Emergency crews responded to a fire Wednesday morning at a home on Charny Drive in northeast Raleigh.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Emergency crews responded to a fire Wednesday morning at a home on Charny Drive in northeast Raleigh.
Firefighters were called to 2118 Charny Drive, off New Hope Road, at about 9:45 a.m.
They had to cut a hole in the roof to fight the fire, but no one was injured.
An investigation was begun to determine the cause of the fire, and a spokeswoman from the Raleigh Police Department said that a criminal investigation was underway.
