Couple Charged With Having Sex in Raleigh Cemetery

Two people were arrested Monday on a charge that they had sex in a Raleigh cemetery.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people were arrested Monday on a charge that they had sex in a Raleigh cemetery, police said.

Deborah Stephens, 51, of Glen Royal Road, and Pernell Triston Kornegay, 37, of Carmel Lane, each face one felony count of crimes against nature.

The two were arrested early Monday at the corner of East Hargett and South East streets, but the circumstances surrounding their arrest were not immediately disclosed.

Each was in the Wake County Jail Monday afternoon under a $3,000 bond.
