It's a quiet consignment sale weekend, what with the extended Labor Day holiday, but we have a couple of sales, including one for horse lovers.

First, Twice is Nice Children's Consignment Sale, hosted by Northwood Temple Mothers of Preschoolers, is open to the public 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m., Saturday. Some items are half off in the afternoon. The church is at 4250 Ramsey St., Fayetteville.
Also, the Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale, billed as the state's largest equine item consignment sale, is open to the public Thursday through Monday. The special premier shopping night is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, and entry requires a $7 admission. Otherwise, it's free to enter the sale after that. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday through Sunday, and noon to 7 p.m., Monday. Some items might be half off on Monday. The sale will feature equestrian tack, saddles, show clothing, barn supplies, horsewear and riding needs for all disciplines and ages.

I know there are lots of horse-loving kids with moms who would love to same some dollars on this gear! In fact, a mom emailed me with information about the sale.

Our consignment sale page lists other consignment sales across the region. We're about to have a busy few weeks!
