FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Traffic was back to normal early Tuesday after a wreck Monday afternoon in Fayetteville.

A 1995 Nissan made a left turn in front of a Quality Concrete Co. truck at the intersection of Stacy Weaver Road and Ramsey Street, police said. The truck collided with the car and then ran off the right side of the road into a utility pole, police said.

The driver of the Nissan, Alexander D. Lacewell, 17, of 421 Dunblane Way, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The driver of the truck, Tracey A. Tyndall, 27, of 2447 Shaw Mill Road in St. Pauls, was uninjured.

Nearly 1,200 customers lost power at the time of the accident, but it has since been restored, authorities said.

The wreck closed part of Ramsey Street for the Monday evening rush hour and much of Monday night.

There was no word on possible charges.
