<b>MAXTON, N.C.</b> — Someone dressed as a clown robbed a Maxton supermarket over the weekend, police said.

The robber held up the Food Lion on N.C. Highway 171 at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Maxton Police Department at 910-844-5667.
