Fiat Chrysler and Acura issued recall notices over the weekend, but neither company said that the vehicle defects put lives in danger.

Acura is offering a free fix for owners of 2014 and 2015 MDX SUVs. The Honda luxury brand says an air conditioner pulley is prone to loosen or break, creating a hazard for other motorists.
Chrysler's recall encompasses 8,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durangos, but only 65 of those are believed to still be on the road. The company says an error in the assembly process during an eight-day period prompted the recall.
