Child struck by car in Fayetteville
A 10-year-old boy that was hit by a truck in Fayetteville Sunday night is in critical but stable condition at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, police said Monday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 10-year-old boy that was hit by a truck in Fayetteville Sunday night is in critical but stable condition at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, police said Monday.
Danie Roberts, of Fayetteville, was trying to cross Reilly Road around 7 p.m. when he was hit.
The driver of the truck, 34-year-old Alan Meador, of Raeford, has not been charged in connection with the incident.
No other information was released.
