Armed robbery suspect leads deputies on three-county chase
Law enforcement officials arrested a man late Monday after he robbed a convenience store and led authorities on a three-county chase that ended in Micro, where he collided with a tractor-trailer before fleeing on foot.

Adrian Jason Roberts, 30, of Randleman Street, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony fleeing to elude arrest.
After deputies arrived to investigate, Roberts returned to the scene and was identified by witnesses, the sheriff's office said. Deputies followed him, and Roberts led them on a nearly 100-mile chase down Bingham Drive, Raeford Road, Skibo Road, the All American Expressway and through Haymount and the downtown Fayetteville areas.
Then he hopped on Interstate 95 and drove into Eastover, Harnett County and eventually Johnston County, where he was halted in Micro by stop sticks set up by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Roberts' Expedition collided with a tractor-trailer, and he then fled on foot.
Roberts was captured a short time later.
It wasn't clear whether anyone was injured in the crash, but authorities said Roberts was the only person in the SUV.
He was in the Cumberland County jail Tuesday under a $25,000 secured bond.
