Three men have been charged in connection with several larcenies reported in the last five months at retail locations in Chapel Hill, police said.

Chapel Hill police seek 3 in string of larcenies
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Three men have been charged in connection with several larcenies reported in the last five months at retail locations in Chapel Hill, police said.

Coy Lamonte Saunders is charged with three counts of felony larceny from a merchant and three counts of felony conspiracy to commit larceny. Theodore Martin Jr. and Desmond Elpedia Collins are each charged with one count of felony larceny from a merchant and one count of felony conspiracy to commit larceny.

According to investigators, the incidents have taken place since September.

The men may be operating a red 2002 Dodge Ram truck with a red bed cover, police said.

Anyone with information about the larcenies or the whereabouts of the suspects should call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515.

Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
