The wreck at the intersection of Mt. Carmel Church Road and Bennett Road happened just before 5 p.m.

<b>CHAPEL HILL, N.C.</b> — A van and two vehicles collided Tuesday afternoon in Chapel Hill, sending several people to area hospitals, police said.

The people involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Traffic was re-routed away from the area for a short time after the wreck.
