Chapel Hill assault suspect arrested in Oklahoma

Chapel Hill police announced the arrest Wednesday of Kevin Tyler Schuster, who was wanted on charges stemming from an Oct. 24 assault, in Oklahoma.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police announced the arrest Wednesday of Kevin Tyler Schuster, who was wanted on charges stemming from an Oct. 24 assault, in Oklahoma.
Police said Schuster, 27, was found in Canadian County, Okla., driving a stolen vehicle and will be extradited to North Carolina.
He is charged with assault by strangulation, kidnapping, theft of a motor vehicle, obtaining property by false pretenses, larceny and interference with emergency communication.
