Chabad of Cary's women's circle to explore Shabbat foods
The event will explore why food is so important on Shabbat. Participants also can sample an array of traditional and unique Shabbat dishes.

Chabad of Cary Jewish Women's Circle will host "A Taste of Shabbat" from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Jan. 12, in Raleigh.
The event will explore why food is so important on Shabbat. Participants also can sample an array of traditional and unique Shabbat dishes. They'll come away with menu ideas, time-saving tips and a collection of recipe cards. A buffet meal ends with a special dessert baking demo and tasting with local Jewish chef Greta Schiffman.
