"American Idol" winner and Garner native Scotty McCreery is among the celebs taking part in the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic on Sunday. Tickets are still available. 

Celebrities will be hitting the links on Sunday for the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic.

The annual event is a fundraiser for the The V Foundation for Cancer Research. 

"American Idol" winner and Garner native Scotty McCreery will be among the celebs taking part this year. He will be joined by NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, Carolina Hurricane Chad LaRose, ESPN's Stuart Scott, Jay Harris and Trey Wingo and former "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro.

The fun starts at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Centennial Campus at North Carolina State University. In addition to watching your favorite celebs golf, there will also be a KidZone for the little ones and plenty of activities for all ages.
