STATE COLLEGE, PA. — The family of Kenneth "Kenny" Ring, who died in an attack Jan. 9 at the Domino's Pizza where he worked, planned a celebration of his life Saturday in State College, Pa.

Ring's family lived in the Triangle before moving to Pennsylvania, and he graduated from Wake Forest-Rolesville High School. The family invited North Carolina friends to the celebration Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ramada Inn, 1450 S. Atherton St. in State College.

A driver returning to the store at 2001 Widewaters Parkway after midnight on Jan. 9 found Ring, 24, on the floor and called 911. Police said Ring was attacked in an apparent robbery. He died of his injuries two days later at WakeMed.

The case remains unsolved, and Knightdale police want to speak to anyone who was in the area from midnight to 12:39 a.m. on Jan. 9.

Authorities are offering a $15,000 reward for information which leads to a conviction in the case. Anyone with information can call the Knightdale Public Safety Department at 919-217-2261.
