Cedar Ridge athletic director suspended
The athletic director at Cedar Ridge High School in Orange County is suspended with pay from his duties, a school district spokesman said Saturday.
Posted — UpdatedHILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — The athletic director at Cedar Ridge High School in Orange County is suspended with pay from his duties, a school district spokesman said Saturday.
James Pappas is a coach, physical education teacher and director of athletics at the school. His suspension was effective Nov. 9, spokesman Michael Gilbert said.
Gilbert did not elaborate on the reason for Pappas' suspension, saying only that a confidential personnel matter was under review by the school system.
Pappas has been an employee of Orange County schools for nine years.
