Case dismissed against Fayetteville couple accused of killing infant

Aubrey Moore, 38, and Cortney Moore, 27, were arrested in March 2010, three months after their son, Gabriel, died from what authorities initially said was from health complications due to a lack of medical care.

Assistant Cumberland County District Attorney Rita Cox said Tuesday that, after discussing the case with the child's physician and a pathologist, she determined there was insufficient evidence to pursue murder charges against the Moores.
