Cary woman facing felony charges after domestic dispute

A Cary woman is facing felony charges following a domestic incident Saturday morning.

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A Cary woman is facing felony charges following a domestic incident Saturday morning.

Angel Nicole Bradford, 21, of Lasky Court, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, which carries a Class E felony with a maximum sentence of 5.25 years, police said.

Police responded to 104 Lasky Court Saturday around 8 a.m. in reference to a domestic dispute between Bradford and her boyfriend. At the request of Bradford, her father—Christopher Layne Bradford Jr.—arrived at the scene.

During a conversation with his daughter, a struggle ensued at Bradford Jr. was shot, officials said. Bradford Jr. was taken to WakeMed Raleigh for treatment of his injuries.=

Bradford was being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
