Cary police issued a warning after they responded to 11 home burglaries since December.

<b>CARY, N.C.</b> — Cary police issued a warning after they responded to 11 home burglaries since December.

Ten of the break-ins occurred in northern Cary, and on at near Southeast Maynard and Kildaire Farm roads. Most occurred on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m., and the burglars targeted flat-screen TVs, computers, jewelry and cash, police said.

Police asked residents to report any suspicious persons or activity near their homes.

Police say a woman was shot in the upper thigh while two men inside the home were arguing. EMS stabilized the woman and took her to ECU Health in Greenville. Both men suffered gunshot wounds during the altercation.
