Cary police seek man in ABC store break-in

Cary police are looking for the person responsible for breaking into the ABC Store at 665 Cary Towne Blvd.

CARY, N.C. — Cary police are looking for the person responsible for breaking into the ABC Store at 665 Cary Towne Blvd.

The same person tried to break into the store Wednesday, police said. The suspect was captured on surveillance video during an unsuccessful attempt to break the front glass door with a hammer, police said.

The suspect came back to the business on Sunday and entered through the rear security door. Once inside, the man took an unknown amount of alcoholic beverages.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts and a black mask.

If you have information, call Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIM. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person responsible for committing the crime.
