Carolina Puppet Theatre plans Wake Forest shows
Carolina Puppet Theatre plans five shows at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre
Posted — UpdatedThe show, or course, remains at the Holly Springs Cultural Center on the first and third Tuesday of each month. And now the long-time entertainers will head to the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for shows starting this Wednesday, March 5.
Carolyn Johnson (Ms. Poly) and Helen Dawkins (Ms. Ester) feature stories, puppets and songs in their hour-long shows best for preschoolers to early grade schoolers. The star of the show is Bartlet, the yellow-haired, Carolina Hurricanes-loving puppet. Kids bring pictures or cards for Bartlet and put them in a mailbox on stage to be read during the show. And kids get to go on stage to act out the day's story.
Future performances at the Renaissance Centre are scheduled for April 2, May 22, June 4 and June 18.
