<b>CAROLINA BEACH, N.C.</b> — The boardwalk at Carolina Beach could soon have a new attraction: a 100,000-square-foot hotel.

Two existing buildings would be demolished to make room for the 10-story, 200-room hotel. It will feature indoor and outdoor pools and a cafe.

Residents and the builders hope the hotel helps revitalize the area.
