Car Stolen in Raleigh Found in Durham

A car stolen this week in Raleigh turned up in Durham Friday afternoon.

DURHAM, N.C. — A truck stolen this week in Raleigh turned up in Durham Friday afternoon.

Durham police and sheriff's officers spotted the 2007 Ford F150 in East Durham and were following it when one occupant jumped out of the truck and ran. The other occupant was arrested and taken into custody. The man who fled was tracked to 727 Obsidian Way, where he, too, was arrested.

The truck was stolen Feb. 27 when the driver was carjacked along Little Brier Creek Lane, Raleigh police report.
