Car pushed under tractor trailer in Capital Boulevard crash
RALEIGH, N.C. — Serious injuries were reported in a Monday evening crash that closed northbound lanes of Capital Boulevard.

Authorities said that a car driven by Hcen Siu Rcom made a right turn onto Capital Boulevard from the Starmount Shopping Center at about 6 p.m. and failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Thomas Matthew Kincaid.

Rcom’s vehicle struck Kincaid’s car, pushing it underneath the rear axle of a tractor trailer driven by Robert Warren Young.

The tractor trailer dragged Kincaid’s car before coming to a stop while Rcom’s vehicle ran off the road.

At least two people were taken to WakeMed, according to a wreck report.

No charges were filed and an investigation is ongoing.
