A tow truck had to pull a car from a precarious position Monday morning after the car ran off southbound Interstate 85 in Durham.

<b>DURHAM COUNTY, N.C.</b> — A tow truck had to pull a car from a precarious position Monday morning after the car ran off southbound Interstate 85 in Durham.

The car was perched on a kudzu-covered embankment on the I-85 ramp to U.S. Highway 70. It was unclear whether anyone was hurt.

The recovery effort closed part of the ramp for more than an hour.
