Camp Lejeune Marine killed in Afghanistan
A 26-year-old Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune died Tuesday while conducting combat operations in Badghis province, Afghanistan, Camp Lejeune officials said Thursday.

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — A 26-year-old Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune died Tuesday while conducting combat operations in Badghis province, Afghanistan, Camp Lejeune officials said Thursday.
Sgt. Justin M. Hansen, of Traverse City, Mich., spent time in Iraq and Afghanistan supporting Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom during his seven-year career as a Marine.
He received a Purple Heart, two Combat Action Ribbons and two Good Conduct Medals for his service.
