RALEIGH, N.C. — Watts Regulator Co., a manufacturer of plumbing supplies, will expand its plant in Rutherford County and create 140 jobs over the next three years, Gov. Mike Easley announced Friday.
Watts regulator received a $140,000 One North Carolina Fund grant through Easley’s office. The grants require a local match.
The company will invest $2.05 million in the plant in the town of Spindale, which is located in southwestern North Carolina.
Average wages for the new jobs will be $27,857 plus benefits.
