Southwest Airlines and JetBlue Airlines soon will launch daily nonstop flight service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Southwest said this week it would begin the service on February 4.
JetBlue begins its service on January 10.
“We are pleased to see expanded service to South Florida,” said Teresa Damiano, RDU’s director of marketing. “The Fort Lauderdale area has needed additional service for several years. These recent announcements by Southwest and JetBlue will offer more choices, which results in good pricing and more schedule options for the RDU customer.”
Delta Connection also services Fort Lauderdale from RDU.
American Airlines offers service to Miami.
