Representatives of the United States Department of Commerce will visit North Carolina this week to discuss the future of the textile industry.

Representatives of the United States Department of Commerce will visit North Carolina this week to discuss the future of the textile industry.

Francisco Sánchez, undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade, and Kim Glas, deputy assistant secretary for Textiles and Apparel, will tour a Parkdale Mills yarn spinning facility in Belmont and a new laboratory at the North Carolina State University College of Textiles.
