RDU raising daily parking rates
Raleigh-Durham International Airport will increase the maximum charge on daily parking from $10 to $12 next week.

RDU also offers hourly parking near the terminals for $1 per hour, or $24 per day. The rate for the airport’s Park and Ride lots remains unchanged at $6 per day.
Officials said the increased rate will help pay off the $570 million cost of Terminal 2, related annual debt service and future renovations to Terminal 1.
The change had been planned to go into effect in 2008, but officials delayed it because of the economic downturn.
