RALEIGH, N.C. — Residents of Fox Ridge Manor Apartments in Raleigh are advised to boil water for consumption beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

City officials said potable water service to the complex, at 2200 Rock Quarry Road, will be interrupted while crews install meter service. Tenants may experience a period of no water service, low pressure or discolored water until the repair is completed.

The advisory is issued as a precaution because a drop in water pressure increases the risk of contaminants entering the water system.

Water service will be restored about 3 p.m., and water sampling will done. Tests will take one to two days to complete, and customers will be notified when the advisory is lifted.

For more information on the advisory, visit the city’s website.
