Boil water advisory canceled in Garner

A boil water advisory issued Tuesday for a Garner neighborhood was canceled Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

About 100 customers in the Forest Landing subdivision were advised to boil their water following a water main break. Officials issued the advisory out of concern for the possibility of bacterial contamination.

However, testing of water samples showed no contamination, officials said.
