Tealette Princess Davis, 28, of Wilson, was reported missing by her boyfriend at around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. Pedestrians found her body in a wooded area along the 900 block of Gay Street, officers said.

WILSON, N.C. — Wilson police are seeking help after finding the body of a woman reported missing.

Tealette Princess Davis, 28, of Wilson, was reported missing by her boyfriend at around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. Davis' boyfriend told police he last saw her shortly before midnight Monday when she left her home at 701 New Street to go to the store.

Pedestrians found Davis' body in a wooded area along the 900 block of Gay Street, officers said.

Police said they don't know the cause of death at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about Davis' death is asked to the Wilson Police Department at 252-399-2323 or the Wilson Crime-Stoppers at 252-243-2255.
