Man's body found outside Chapel Hill church
The body of a 41-year-old man was found Tuesday evening beside a trash bin at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on East Rosemary Street in Chapel Hill.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers found Jason Henry Myrick, of 100 W. Rosemary St., was found at about 4:30 p.m. Police said there were no indications of foul play.
No further information was immediately available.
Some students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill were upset that an alert was not sent out by campus police. The church is located a few blocks from campus.
School officials said an alert was not sent out because it was determined there was no threat to the school.
