Body found off I-85 near Durham identified
Investigators identified the body discovered early Sunday off Interstate 85 near Redwood Road as Franklin Martinez, 26, the Durham County Sheriff's Office said.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Investigators identified the body discovered early Sunday off Interstate 85 near Redwood Road as Franklin Martinez, 26, the Durham County Sheriff's Office said.
Martinez was last seen alive at Sabor Latino Night Club in Durham. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds at about 6 a.m. on the side of the northbound entrance ramp to I-85 from Redwood Road.
Martinez had no wallet or identification, but was wearing a wristband often used for entry to nightclubs, authorities said.
