Body found in Raleigh rock quarry

Wake County sheriff's investigators said Monday that there doesn't appear to be foul play in the death of a woman found in a rock quarry off Capital Boulevard.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake County sheriff's investigators said Monday that there doesn't appear to be foul play in the death of a woman found in a rock quarry off Capital Boulevard.

The woman, identified as Dolly Lameijer, 74, was found Sunday afternoon in the Hanson Rock Quarry at 10501 Capital Blvd.

Lameijer's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy to find out how she died.
