Body Found in Falls Lake Identified

Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Six months after two fisherman pulled a body from Falls Lake, authorities have identified the man.
Thomas Wayne Ray, 53, whose last known address was 69 Arnold Way in Louisburg, drowned in the lake, according to an autopsy. There were no signs of foul play, authorities said.
Two fishermen spotted the body about a mile from the Ledge Rock Boat Ramp near the Wake-Durham county line on Nov. 25. The body had been in the lake for several days before it was discovered, authorities said.
