State troopers are investigating the death of a 32-year-old Florida man whose body was found in a vehicle that crashed into a mailbox in a Fayetteville subdivision Saturday.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — State troopers are investigating the death of a 32-year-old Florida man whose body was found in a vehicle that crashed into a mailbox in a Fayetteville subdivision Saturday.
The body of Jonathan Neill Franks, 32, of Tallahassee, Fla., was found in a wrecked vehicle near the Gates Four clubhouse, on Towbridge Road, around 3 a.m., Trooper G. Steffens said.
Investigators do not believe that the crash caused Franks' death, Steffens said. He said the cause of death is under investigation but is not considered to be suspicious.
