Nearly 400 riders started at Cary's Cycling Spoken Here and rode routes of 15, 32 and 54 miles through Wake and Chatham counties. The event raised more than $75,000. WRAL and WRAL.com are proud sponsors of the event and meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner is the honorary ride leader each year.

Local non-profit Grab My Wheel founded the ride as a way to support family and friends battling cancer. In seven years, le Tour de Femme has raised more than $500,000 to benefit The Angel Fund of Rex Hospital and the Livestrong Foundation.
