Big Muddy sets 2015 dates for its parent-child events
After a big inaugural year, the Big Muddy Challenge is back again for another season of fun and messy parent-child challenges.
Posted — UpdatedBig Muddies feature courses of 2 to 2.5 miles with about a dozen obstacles - some are physical, others require some mental agility. Different from a typical 5K race, Big Muddy Challenges allow parents and children to participate right next to each and help each other along the way. Kids must be at least six years old to participate.
Triangle events are set for May 2 and Sept. 5 at Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville. Events also are planned in the Charlotte, Richmond and Fredericksburg, Va., area. The cost is $31 for kids and $40 for adults. Registration is open now.
